80bee is ADB for the New Era

I’ve been creating technology tutorials for more than half my life. And I’ve learned there is just something about the command line that certain folks just do not like.

To some, it’s enough to make them avoid it entirely.

Ever since Google launched the Android Flash Tool, I loved the idea of baking ADB features directly into a website. But I avoided it for so long because I though it would be more resource intensive.

WebUSB is really nice, though.

And with it, I’ve been able to create a website that finally unlocks the power of ADB to the average person using an Android smartphone or tablet.

There’s just so much potential there.

And with so many OEMs locking down the bootloader lately. We need an alternative way to customize the firmware.

Enter 80bee.com

Here, we have a website that I’ve been working on the last few months. It allows you to pair the phone with the site over a USB cable (with USB Debugging enabled on the phone).

And you don’t need to install fancy drivers.
You don’t need to download ADB/Fastboot tools.

It just works.

With 80bee, we can literally execute any ADB/ADB Shell command on the phone for you. So accessing Fastboot Mode, Recovery Mode, etc., these are all found within the Boot Manager module.

Adjust the speed of your animations, change the DPI, customize the display resolution. and more can be found within the UI Speed Tweaker module.

You can inject a popular DNS server to override your local one, effectively blocking a lot of ads you see on your Android smartphone or tablet.

The latest features I’ve been working on include a Debloater for those pesky pre-installed apps, a way to install Shizuku (with ways to keep it active), and a way to bypass the sideloading restrictions that are being added soon.

There’s a lot here.

So give it a look and let me know what you think. I’ve tried to work in patches for edges cases (since so many OEMs are change things with their firmware) but I can’t test it on every phone out there.
